Book Tour Tuesday: Interview with Stacey O'Neale

Interview

1. What flavor is your writing?

Mint Chocolate Chip? LOL! I don’t know.

2. If this book was made into a movie, who would you cast to play the characters?

Tyler Hoechlin and Felicity Jones.

3. What is your favorite scene in UNDER HIS SKIN?

When Kaden’s brother confirms that Annabelle is his mate. The whole scene is really funny, and it tells you a bit about each brother.

4. What are you reading now or what books do you have in your TBR pile?

I’m reading THE SHADOW QUEEN by C. J. Redwine. I have a zillion books on my TBR. ;-)

5. What are you working on now?

I’m currently writing an adult contemporary military romance for my agent. Then, the final book in my MORTAL ENCHANTMENT series. After that, the second book in this series.

Author Thursday: Interview with Echo Ishii

Interview

1. What flavor is your writing?

I write fantasy and SF. I love to play around with worlds and possibilities. On a more serious level, I write romance because I am curious about the nature of love-and how everyone is imperfect in some way yet wants to be loved. I include some humor to lighten things up though. :)

2. If this book was made into a movie, who would you cast to play the characters?

Actually, I don't follow a lot of actors. I like movies and certain characters but I can't say I would have a favorite to cast. Anyone who can do a handsome Elf. :)

3. What is your favorite scene in MR. RUMPEL AND MR. GRIMM?

My favorite scene? Wow. That's tough. Well, I worked hard on a chapter in which we meet Daniel Grimm's sister Giselle, and his cousin, Mary. We also get to meet Mary's partner, Alice, and see the tenderness between those two. Even though I had a wonderful time writing the whole story, I believe those scenes were my favorites because they showed that Daniel is a good soul underneath. He may seem handsome, frivolous, and clueless at times, but he's capable of deep devotion.

Interview

1. What flavor is your writing?

Adventure. I have different flavors (genres) that I write: Fantasy, Paranormal, Historical, and romantic suspense, but they all have some type of adventure in them.

2. If this book was made into a movie, who would you cast to play the characters?
  • Amanda Seyfried as Crystal
  • Shalim Ortiz as Kade
  • Annie Wersching as Ruby
  • Paul Walker as Paul
  • Tyrese Gibson as Uncle George
  • Boris Kodjoe as Uncle Gustin
3. What is your favorite scene in Stolen Hearts?

I have many. Guess my favorite to write was when Crystal and her sister fake the flu to hide a gunshot wound.

Author Thursday: Interview with Linda O'Connor

Interview

1. What flavor is your writing?

My flavor is butterscotch ripple with pralines. A creamy base of everyone’s favorite vanilla, with a swirl of humor thrown in, and the occasional nugget of sexy.

2. If this book was made into a movie, who would you cast to play the characters?

I would cast Anna Kendrick or Jenna Coleman as Margo and Ryan Reynolds or Ryan Gosling as Trace.

3. What is your favorite scene in Perfectly Reasonable?

I have two favorite scenes – one when Margo and Trace are driving to a ski chalet with Jess, a friend of Trace’s. It’s a funny scene because Margo is jealous and feels a little out of place. I also like the banter between Margo and Trace, particularly when Margo asks Trace what car he drives. She believes you can tell a lot about a person by the color and make of their vehicle. He tells her he drives a beige station wagon! :D He doesn’t reveal his car to her until the end of the book.

Book Tour: Interview with Nina Croft

Interview

1. What flavor is your writing?

A little bit bitter, then a whole lot of sweet. One of the reasons I write romance is I love a happy ending, but I also like my characters to suffer before they get there.

2. If this book was made into a movie, who would you cast to play the characters?

Scarlett Johansson for Daisy and Alex Skarsgard for Fergal.

3. What is your favorite scene in Blood and Metal?

I think my favorite scene is after Daisy and Fergal first try and get it together—not very successfully. Perhaps because it was the first real sign that there was more between them than just sex. Here’s a snippet:

Author Thursday: Interview with Rachel Leigh Smith

Interview

1. What flavor is your writing?

This is a tough one. It’s hopeful, but at the same time the happy endings are not easily reached or held on to. It takes three books for A’yen and Fae to get their happily ever after. I do have a tendency to get dark, but it’s never so dark that you lose all light. Ultimately, everything I write is about the power of sacrificial love and redemption.

It’s also hero-centric. He’s always the main character. If you’re searching for a romance all about him, check me out!

2. If this book was made into a movie, who would you cast to play the characters?

A’yen would be Tom Weston-Jones. I met the actor in Copper on BBC America the same summer I was writing this book, and as soon as detective Kevin Corcoran opened his mouth I knew he was A’yen. Fae would be Zooey Deschanel, not in the way she acts but in the way she looks.

The other major character in the novel is a man named Na’var, and he’d be played be Eion Bailey, aka August Booth in Once Upon A Time.
