The Importance of Being Emily is out now! And she's doing rather well. I'm trying not to obsessively check the Samhain store best seller list, but she was on it for a bit. I did break my "Thou Shalt Not Read Reviews/Ratings on GoodReads" commandment and was promptly crushed, so I will not be doing that again. It's a commandment for a reason. Emily did get her first official review from Long and Short Romance Reviews, and it was great. :)
In other news, Blood, Smoke and Mirrors is a finalist in the Light Paranormal/Urban Fantasy category of the 14th Annual Prism Contest for Published Authors. It's pretty cool. And fellow Samhain author Sheryl Nantus is a finalist in the Futuristic category for Blaze of Glory, which I loved and is awesome.
Next week BFF Diana and I will be attending the Lori Foster Reader & Author Get Together. I'll be signing copies of Blood, Smoke and Mirrors at their ginormous book signing. It'll be my first book signing, and I'm very nervous. I have a serious fear that no one will want my book and I'll just be sitting there, reading Twitter on my phone... But it is open to the public, so if you or anyone you know lives in the Cincinnatti area and has some free time on Saturday June 4th, feel free to stop by and say hi. ;)
